2015 at the Blue and Gold Chip Dinner in Dallas, Texas. We didn't know it at the time, but we would become everything to each other.

For the first three years of our time in Annapolis we missed each other by one degree of separation. It wasn't until our Leadership Class Junior Year that we first locked eyes.

We had delightful conversations after class walking to Bancroft Hall over our similar values.

At the end of the year we shared a brief dance at the 2/C Ball.

Caleb speaking here, I never got the chance to officially ask Gabrielle out before COVID-19 sent us all home First Class Year.

But on a chance encounter via social media, I saw that we were both watching Nacho Libre at the same time and decided to take a chance.

We began our courtship via Skype.

I began courting Gabrielle on opposite coasts of the U.S. Much to my chagrin, she invited me home for Thanksgiving.

It was a beautiful two weeks...and before I knew it I was selecting orders to head to Okinawa, Japan.
